not that this is world beating, but, rapp just had the second fastest split during the last 22 mile segment, behind marino. so, i think he might be feeling pretty good. he's in about 20th, so, he's got a lot of ground to make up in order to get into the top-10.

We'll see how many ahead of him melt down.

Marino won't win, nobody named Marino has ever won a championship :p

It looked like one was the official escort (Bonk Breaker?) and the other wasn't. Seemed to me that the unofficial one was bothering him and he told the official one to tell him to bugger off?

And the IM Feed said Jacobs made up 20 sec on MVH in the first mile. A little math - with a lot of assumptions - gives this the possibility of something epic.

Kind of funny but in a fair way, all 3 of the top women had to serve 4 minute penalties at different times during the race. Hope mary beth is loading up the goodies for her T2 rest stop. Wonder if any of the women behind had any issues? It looked to me like they rode fine, just had brain farts when it came to inching into the zone, then failing to pass. I think i saw mary beths spot, and that is what the said of leanda. Anyone know what the 3rd one was??

Dan, do you know Marino? Is he kind of a dick? He just seems like he is always pissed in his mannerisms....like the way he throws down cups and the way he was interacting with the cyclists. I could be way off base but it just "seems" like that.

Does anyone know him?

Put Lieto and Lieto in the booth. Let them train with McEnroe for the offseason.

You have triathlon's Sklar brothers. It would be splendid.
