I think even if Kienle had not punctured (ignoring everyone else) he still wouldn't have beaten Alexander. If the 70.3 Worlds were a good barometer of run ability, he would've needed 3-3.5mins at least as a cushion which he was approaching on the bike IIRC, *BUT* I think Alexander's Kona experience would've given him the edge. Assuming Kienle didn't blow up it would've been a good run battle.

Oh, I wasn't absolutely sure the first ten times it was posted. Thanks for clarifying.

Macca was just spotted skitching off of Lance's bike and was subsequently DQed. So yes, he is out.

Hmmmm...wonder why? Surely something definitive otherwise he'd have burnt some (more) matches and taken his chances he'd have enough on the run.....

Hard to tell, but I think he's out.

On another note, and I may be the first (or not by the time I hit enter) of 12 to mention this, but looks like Crowie has fallen off the pace...

Alexander falling back. Perhaps age finally catching up with Macca and Crowie, as younger guys are moving ahead.

Chocolate Milk does a body good.

Seriously these commercials drive me nuts. It's chocolate ****ing chocolate milk, I don't need a bunch of pseudoscience BS to tell me to drink it. What's next, a marketing campaign for water, official beverage of champions?

Oh, and apparently there's some sort of bipedal race occurring today too.

How is he doing? He is doing great at what he is best at; talking smack and then quitting.
