Ha yeah, I turn pretty hard sometimes in my sleep, and It slides off. I just happened to not make the bed this time around.

Your cat doesn't seem to mind.

Kinda. I started whining that my hips hurt and Brian said "didn't I tell you the other day to lower your seat a couple mm?"

I did learn how to assemble, then disassemble, my bike! I just took a picture but I can't get the card reader to work. Too bad because it's a beautiful picture of a nice black bike box!

My first post here, but seemed like a good way to get involved!

I just got my Tarmac on Dec 23, I'm looking to do a lot of road riding this year and a couple of Tri's on it.

This is my fun in the mountains and mud bike. Lots of great rides on her.

Judging by the wall and shrub, that picture was taken this side of the pond not in Ontario. Is the fork really supposed to have negative rake? What's that thing on the top tube? It looks like it is supporting the saddle nose.

Interseting build from yesteryear, loose chain or no.

Love em'! This is my 2nd pair (had the original silver versions as well - now my trainer shoes). Very light, stiff, great insole, airy and easy to adjust on the fly for that Wed night world champ sprint sign ;)

I pulled the pic off fixed gear gallery. You are correct. It is an english track bike. Apparently, the negative rake helps with track cornering, even though it looks scary as heck. I also can't figure out what's up with the seat brace.

I'm very surprised how dirty and disorganized people's houses are, gross!! I have 3 children under the age of 5 and a dog and my house is spotless compared to these so called Type A personalities....

Rod & Fleck

How do you find the sizing in the Specialized shoes? According to the website I should wear a 46, but in most other euro sizing I'm a 48. I wear a 13 in Asics and Saucony.

How does the sizing compare to your running shoes?

Thanks,

Doug

Sorry for the OT

LOL...not you but I would've organized by bookshelf from Tallest book on the Left to smallest book on the right so it's a nice downhill effect...Although if you are as anal as I am you might have them organized a different way like by Author, date purchased or subject matter....

Home depot in Alberta carries that line. I bought all mine from there. I have the bikes hanging next to the hockey sticks etc. Cheap and easy too.

It is a true blue Motorpacing bicycle. A step up from Kierin. Long races superfast, big belt-drive motos with extended bars so pacer can sit/stand alost above the rear wheel. Small wheel negative rake allowed the "stayer" to get closer to the roller fixed to the rear of the moto. Eddy Merckx hurt his back doing that, around '69 or '70, and it slowed him down with pain for rest of his career...if you can imagine! I had the occasion to meet a 4time World Champ motorpacer in Mallorca. He has a cool shop, trophy room, and WC jerseys at the nearby hilltop monastery..

I will scan and post the pics.

The "don't move it" rule made taking a photo difficult as this is a very narrow hallway. Sorry for the crappy blackberry photos.
