Hi All. Looking for some ideas on how to hang my road and tt bike. I got a new treadmill and my workout room is starting to fill up. Wanted to see if anyone had a unique way of doing it. I have some decent wall space where I could hang them flat to the wall.

Not horizontal, but they work great

Something simple I used were some old broken bike hanging pads from an old Thule rack. They slipped right onto these pieces of pipe that I screwed into a base bought at a Home Depot and right onto the wall where I wanted it.

I've been using a Delta Cycle Leonardo Da Vinci Single Hook for years. It is sturdy and has enough rubber to protect the rim.

Thanks for the replies thus far. I used to hang my bikes from the wheel but now I have carbons on each of them so I’m hesitant to do that again.

I have not used them, but I’ve thought about getting the Steady Rack. The contact point for holding the bike is the tires rather than the rim. And they have a rotating mechanism so you can fold the bikes so are more flush with the wall saving some space

These.

They have a Speedplay insert if you use that pedal.

A potential downside is that the bike is not as close to the wall as it could be. Also, you need a special version to fit a bike with fenders. For those reasons our hanging bikes are split between the Steady Rack and a simple padded hook.

I just ordered one of these yesterday: https://dahanger.co/collections/dasprocket
I considered the Cycloc super hero as well, but like that the DaSprocket uses four mounting screws instead of two. Also a bit cheaper. There are several other options on Amazon, but they are a bit bulky.
Will update once I have the item.

I will kind of piggy back /hijack on this as I had a similar question.
At my new office, bikes have to go in a bike locker. (almost annoyingly secure, so no issue there) But the only way for the bike to go in, is to be hung up by a wheel. Not an issue when I ride my commuter bike in, but once a week or so I ride my road bike, which I would rather not hang. Any ideas for that? was thinking of rigging some sort or strap to go between the seat post and the hook.
To the Op- I use this at my house http://www.racorstoragesolutions.com/...etectCookieSupport=1 though there are about 5 companies on Amazon that sell the same thing under different names.

We just use these stands.
Got 3 of them around the apartment.
No screws of glue required to fix in place. Just expand like an acro prop and wedge in place.

Due to our many types of bikes (TT, road, cruiser, fat tire, etc.), we have 3 different models and they all work well. Can't recommend highly enough.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts on how to hang my bikes. I ordered the cycloc super hero from amazon. I'll see how they function. I like the look of clean lines. However, if they don't work I can send them back and get the steadyrack. I'll take a pic once I get them installed.

What's the brand name of these if someone wanted to look into them?

Very cool. I just did a simple rubber covered hardware store hook in the wall for the pedal and two blocks screwed into the wall for the tires. Yours is a little cleaner. I think you have a similar ceiling height situation as I do (7 ft) so I can't put one on top of the other. I like the middle of the wall floating look if I can't stack them for space savings.

Haha no that’s a work bench under the bike not the floor.

Looks great! What's holding the top in? I see shelves for wheels, but no pedal hook as I can tell.

Especially with deep wheels that shouldn’t be hung from hooks.
I built this after getting some ideas shopping around. All the shoes and glasses go on the waist high shelf. There is an air compressor and spare parts on the bottom shelf.
