I am building my front end up very similar to yours. Flat stem, Brezza, Tririg--looks fast! Did you have any issues mounting the Tririg break to the fork? It looks like it needs some spacers or washers behind the bolt hole of the Tririg brake to keep it from binding on the fork.
Shut up legs.

Tri-rig should come with a few plastic spacers., and you'll need a few as otherwise the brake holder will rub the fork. Your LBS should have them if you don't have enough
Bigger issue is routing of front brake cable to the tri-rig if you have a size-s frame.

I have a Brezza and Tri Rig brake. The brake does come with enough spacers to push the brake away from the fork, it is close-ish but more than enough with a little room to spare.

The f&%$g cables on my bike kill me. I have gone through a dozen different alternatives in my mind but nothing works really well. I think, if you have a low stem then the cables coming out of the extensions looks nice (as in the picture above). I have risers on my Brezza so the extensions sit quite high. I don't know whether to let them come straight back from each extensions down to the cable holes or whether to let them route above the base bar, each side of the stem, and then drop down. I think the lack of top tube cable holes is only thing moving this frame away from looking 100%

You don't need one. Just have your local shop cut it if you're nervous about doing it yourself.

Hi. Seriously, you don't need the tool if you can't get hold of one. The end does not need to be perfect and the tool has a cutting ago that is wide enough bit to make it perfect anyway. It really is not essential and, considering the post is held by a small bar in the frame at the rear if the seat post I am surprised they included it at all. It is probably included for DIY muppets with heavy hands. Any half decent shop would be able to use a quality blade and cut as straight by hand as they can with the tool. In fact, my last cut i didn't bother giving my LBS the tool.

Yes, there is DA 7800 rear brake. I like the design of 6800 cranks. No, it will be mechanical version. Don't throw rotten tomatoes at me but I don't like how works electronic shifting, mechanical is more friendly and more reliable as for me

Having been a long term Specialized bike owner I thought I would give Scott a go as the Plasma Premium / 3 looked very special indeed.
Ordered the frameset 3 weeks ago and received it last week. As it was packed really well I left everything in place and then I travelled with the framset and parts to build up the bike in the UK where I am now for a few weeks till I return back to the USA. All looked beautiful until… Scott had sent the wrong fork with the frame!!!
DOH!
Scott UK are helping me as we speak so hopefully I will get the right fork.
Can't wait to ride it.

No idea… think it was simply a different year to the frame. Frame was a 2012 model so Scott UK said, so might be 2011 forks or earlier!
Re: Scott Plasma 3 Owners Thread [MarkT]

Yeah the front forks are from the 2011 Model.
