The highwood pass is one of my favourite rides, good shot, ~ and I'm 99% sure that's the track I train on (by the velodrome?) during the summer, synchonicitiy.

Here's a shot of the mass swim start before the Sylvan Lake Half '06, I'm somewhere out there.

I don't get credit for this pic - my friend took it - but it's my favorite ever sports picture. It is from the morning of my first marathon; I stayed with friends in my running club. One of those friends is the guy who won the race (he ran a 2:32) - pretty cool, he had taken me out over the course the day before and given me pointers on all the stretches to watch for. And then we had dinner together that night and breakfast the next morning... I am such a lucky girl! anyway, the picture is his water bottles and gels with exactly where he wanted them in the race. They had all these crazy messages on them. For my next marathon, I am making water bottles that have SUCK IT UP, PRINCESS written all over them :D

Great thread idea.

My best sports photos are on slides and I don't have a way of scanning them. My favorite is me crashing my Triumph Spitfire into an MGB during a sports car road race at Mosport in the 1970's.

Here's the most recent. Enjoying the Great Barrier Reef last November just after the wife participated in the World's Long Course in Canberra.
