Yeah, Sandy's shorebreak. Photo was shot around 1991 or 1992 by Don King. We were doing an ad shoot for my sponsor of the time (Morey Bodyboards).

Still one of my favorite race pics. This was taken near the end of June at the Kananaskis 100 Mile Relay.
After a winter of heavy snow, the snow pack was still 3-4 feet deep at the top of Highwood Pass.
The air temperature at the top of the pass was warm enough for shorts and t-shirt.



This one of my last beer mile is pretty funny

Great pics, but the sad thing is these two can probably lap most of us on just about any 2 loop swim course.

Taken of me but made the AP wire in 1979. This was taken after the postponement of the 1979 IM due to inclement weather from saturday to Sunday. I was walking my bike back to the car. The weather wasn't any better on Sunday. 50 knot winds, steady rain. 6 foot surf.
