We're starting up a new wrenching column on the site in the near future, and one of the things we'd like to highlight is the huge body of tribal knowledge that people who spend way too much time working on bikes/work on bikes for a living take for granted. Case in point, I simply dropped that "daisy chain two rubber bands together" in an article without even thinking that maybe I should explain how to do so!
