Here is my SC 7.5
Stock ultegra build. Put on a -17 degree stem. The ski bend extension are also under the base bar. Torhans 30 for the front and swapped the PD Razr for the Bontrager Speed Bottle.

Should I go with the Bonty or Spez? It'll eventually get blacked out.

Beautiful!

Personally, I've ejected the Spec' on more than one occasion, and it cost me a fair bit of nutrition during a race once. So I'd go with the Bonty.

I do want an aero chrainring and the zipp aero drop bar. The brakes will stay. I'm familiar with the omega's and love them on our TT bikes but I'll stick with regular for the road racing bike for a number of reasons. Sticking with look pedals for convenience reasons too =)

So Jack, are you getting some aero brakes in your stockings and maybe some aero drop bars from Santa and some aero cranks for your birthday? I know you want to aero this bike out. You can't fight it. You know you want to. How about some new pedals with no float and stupid light as well. One stop shopping.

WTF Eli?

If you can't afford to go carbon right now, at least spend the $5 and buy a match for that aluminum bottle cage!!!

C'mon man, you're better than that. ;)

LOL It's ti, and is lighter than most carbon out there. Google: King Cage. You're welcome, Brad.

I have a match, it's just called HOT COCOA ON 5 HOUR RIDES. You should try it sometime. Life changing.

(The thermos has a special cage, and that's what you see on the downtube, for those of you following along at home)

Brad, I wrote this for you.

This is my Caad10. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Caad10 is useless. Without my Caad10, I am useless. I must ride my Caad10 fast. I must ride faster than the enemy who is trying to catch me. I must crush his dreams before he crushes mine. I will.

My Caad10 and I know that what counts in racing is not the amount of attacks we launch, the noise of our scream, or the distractions we make. We know that it is the breakaway that sticks that counts. We will attack and it will stick.

My Caad10 is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its shifters and its derailleurs. I will keep my Caad10 clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other.

Before God I affirm this creed. My Caad10 and I are the defenders of every segment I hold the KOM in. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.

So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy.

I got the Frame, Fork, Seatpost, Basebar, Extensions, & Chainrings powdercoated locally. No way I could do that myself. The fork was a bit of a challenge because it's a composite so it couldn't be sandblasted. The finish isn't as perfect as the frame, but it's pretty good though. I got gloss black decals for a subtle contrast & I picked up some name stickers from VC Graphics. I also got some valuable input from PaintIt here on the forum.

I haven't had a chance to really test out the Bonty yet. It feels like it would rattle a lot unless I put some velcro on it somewhere. And I'd drill secondary holes on the cage to get it closer to the seat-tube. At the same time the Spez has been good to me this year - no ejections & it feels solid. It looks like a scoop from the front though because it has a cut-out that I presume was designed specifically to sit flush with the Spez Transition seat-tube - but when mounted on the seat-tube in this case it faces forward. I'll give the Bonty a go.
