Solarberg looks mental (that photographer squatting in the athlete's path!) with spectators closing in after the barriered section.
How is that going to be managed when the amateur peleton is grimping its way slowly up the climb?

Yes, they won't show up ar km X until they reach km X.

Sam is riding alone. Ditlev and Frodo are very strong cyclists and they're pulling in a group. 3min is not bad. Look at how much faster others are losing time (Lange and the group behind Sam)

They have done it for +25 years and no one has come to harm. It is awesome riding up there, feels like you are on the Tour de France. Even on the 2nd loop they are 10 - 20 deep pushing you up the hill.

Much more traffic here it seems. I’m guessing that’s because of the wave starts

No I think there's a trend here now and this is his current level at full distance.

Freshwater swim without wetsuit and a big group of strong cyclists working at the front. He's losing less time than anyone else.

Were you expecting him to solo catch Frodo and Ditlev who can both ride under 4 hours?

Lol Frodeno is gonna stroll in for a victory unless his injury flares up. I'm a Dane and love Ditlev, but unless Frodeno is heavenly undertrained he should have it in the bank.

They lose his T2 bag, waste 20 seconds looking…he’s smiling, laughing etc…still leaves T2 ahead of Ditlev.

Is the men's race for first place over?

Not sure Lange can make up 14mn and catch Ditlev...?
Even if Lange run 2:35, Ditlev would need to run 2:50 and he ran 2:40 in Texas not so long ago

It doesn't get easier, you just get slower

Wow!So much happened during my swim, different race
I like Ditlev for this one, don’t want to jinx him though. That is a great improvement from “only” being an uberbiker
