Now, for Snowsill, and mostly for Australia, this is adecent move. There is an Aussie in the chase ggroup of three who can react to either Snowsill being caught... if that happens... or to cover a move by the American... Bennett, so this is good tactically for the Aussies.
Now, I think Snowsill.... great as she is, got a bit excited here. She's a bit over wraught. Did you see her urgency in the aid station? the aid men are not allowed to hand off water. The athlete must fetch it. Snowsill seemed annoyed by that.
Bennett has got to be calculating here.... doing the math, how much of a gap can she close..... Is Bennett smiling or grimancing? Tom Demerly The Tri Shop.com
And Ertel is dropping off the back. She used up too much just rejoining the pack so many time. -- "Rock and roll, dude." -- Dave Z., on winning TTs in all 3 Grand Tours.
Damn, GAME OVER ---------------------------------------------------
Brawndo's got what plants crave. Brawndo's got electrolytes. And that's what plants crave. They crave electrolytes. Which is what Brawndo has. And that's why plants crave Brawndo. Not water, like from the toilet.
Snowsill only 103lbs.? I carried more weight than that in my combat loadout and the extra ammo for the M60E2 (hahaha!) Tiny, but tough. That's a good combination for the Aussie.
Bennett is grimacing, for sure. She's going to have a hard time keeping up with Fernandes. But if she can, she could medal. (Medals = YAY) -- "Rock and roll, dude." -- Dave Z., on winning TTs in all 3 Grand Tours.
at this speed and intensity making up that sort of gap is very hard, snowsill has only a few miles left at the same intensity, this is in the bag!!! I am cracking open the beer to celebrate!
I think Hewitt is setting herself up nicely to kick on for a minor medal...she knows how to finish (Melbourne Commonwealth Games, 06) blood, sweat...and big gears

The Brit there is under pressure as the medals go up the road to the US and to Portugal.... And of course the coast of Austrialia is looking more gold with every step Snowsill takes! Tom Demerly The Tri Shop.com
