You have to pull for a guy that puts down his profession as "FAT BASTARD". I have only met Khai once at Greg's shop but I would not go that far. LOL

Just found out that my next door neighbor is doing the race and was out in 56 and change. MUTER

I think my buddy OHAGAN (ex Canadian cycling team member) but that was about 60-80 lbs ago will duke it out with Khai in the swim.

What the hell is up with the race coverage. There is nothing at all for the last half hour. I am pissed that there is no live audio and now this. Time to make some cell calls to see how the race is really going.

Actually I just noticed that Khai's T1 time isn't up. I wonder if he's having issues... YVR K's and Tortoise's T1s are up... hmmm...

WAIT: it's up 12:23. Ouch. Must have had some issues all righty.

Yeah, I'm in Grand Cayman right now, waiting for Ernesto. Although it looks like we might be spared - unlike Cuba.

Paulo, do you know if Khai is using his tri-bike or road bike? I remeber him debating that on a thread awhile back.

You never know what to expect from him though, I remember when he rode a fixed gear bike for a half Ironman... it made an interesting race report though.

The last time I relied on athlete tracker (IMUK), I found out that my friend had finished his first IM in a blistering 7:47! Boy, was that exciting. He actually did the last lap of the bike in zero minutes flat. Smokin' fast!

Do they mean rotorcranks? i thought PC's helped your running not climbing.

A new men's leader!

RACETIME: 03:10

And what's even more amazing is that COURTNEY OGDEN (#38), who is leading the race, is doing so on a set of PowerCranks, which we always thought were supposed to be used for training!

PowerCranks are supposed to help you wth your climbing on the bike, so it makes sense that Ogden has moved in front at the top of the first major climb on the course at Richter Pass.

How come the coverage keeps reporting 2 separate "Courtney Ogden's"? Now they are 10 sec apart, earlier I noticed that the 2 "Courtney Ogden's" were listed with separate race #'s. Seems like some strange stuff?!?!

According to the athlete tracker, Courtney Ogden is in 3rd AND 4th place.

Hope he doesn't get a drafting penalty off of himself...

The coverage, she's lacking.
