Need I remind you of the rules...
Rule #29
/ No European Posterior Man-Satchels[/url].
Saddle bags have no place on a road bike, and are only acceptable on mountain bikes in extreme cases.

Nice bike. Curious, Christmas present to self? Each year it seems my birthday present to myself is a bike. Wife does not have an issue but I know some think there is something wrong with buying self birthday present

Oh it's on there in full violation of your rules. Why do you repeat rule number 18 twice? I also think that anyone who is as hard core about cycling as you, obviously, are, wouldn't possibly be permitted to be seen posting in a trigeek forum. (do i foresee a new rule to be added to the list?) Just being a trigeek violates most of your rules especially #42. Are you converting, slumming or just being a "douche"? Oh and no comment on how i break rule 47 repeatedly? I have a powertap and a Garmin oh and I think there is a washer nut on one of the wheels because the stem is just long enough and if the tyre deflates a bit I can't get a good grip with the pump.
So I guess you let me off a bit easy. Maybe you're just having a giraffe?

Yeah mostly to myself. I guess my wife's contribution was to let me buy it knowing it will just lead to me riding it for hours on end. Or maybe she hopes I'll get home faster. (Or maybe she hopes I'll get a flat)

Some bag I bought from my LBS that came as a kit... but i am looking for a better bag with longer straps because due to my saddle position it rarely stays on during a long ride and i end up putting the bag in my jersey pocket

Steel is REAL!! Don't see many of these out there. Hand-built custom steel tri bike thanks to Bryan at Royal H Cycles. This was about 24 hours after riding a 5:33 at IMLP. (Wheels were rented, unfortunately...)
