Here is my new Bike.
Some of you will probably appreciate it.
It is a Carl Strong Titanium bike.
Alfine 11 speed
gates beltdrive
shimano disc brakes
Tubus Ti rear rack
he'd belgium c2 with 28mm tires
gates crank
Thompson seat post and stem
Envie Cross fork... (which was modified by Parlee to have fender mounts)
Seems like Carl is the bad-ass of bad-ass Titanium makers.
Im going to ride it a bit before I circumsize the steerer... I think that Ill drop is 5 more mm

very cool. you even synched the tires. what did you have first to drive the color choice? the frame, the seat or the powermeter?

i am not familiar with that frame but i think you crushed the set up. that is pretty sweet. the old specialized bottle works pefectly here.

Everything started with the frame. The lime green just kinda went from there. Also wear the lime green Rudy Wingspan, Newton Kismet and my Fuel Belt race belt. A lot of stuff comes in lime green these days!

Just replying to Zach because he helped with the bottle (this was as close as I could get it with the pads and extensions) but the emergency IMC bike is built up and ready to go after an accident July 4th. Thanks also to cyclenutz, for the information leading to the 51. Fits better than my old slice. Looks like I get to see how it rides in the rain on Sunday!

Good job. If you had a 56 I would make you one of my vr bottles that integrates better. But overall yours will get the job done. Good luck this weekend!
And yes, the 30 is hard to bunch up to headtube without bayonet style bars.

Thanks Zach,
I will eventually get the spare parts piece done too - but not enough time. Had to go the Trevor Wurtele route for the flat kit. Thanks so much for your time and guidance with this!

Hey mate...
Nice bike :-) have you got the universal extension mount fitted, or just the monoextension? I just ordered a SC and am wondering whether to order the uni mount as I normally ride with the aerobars rotated in a little? How do you find it?
Cheers, Jeremy

I have the mono plug. You can use any extension. I purchased it in trek's online shopping page.
