IIRC, the ritchey bars have indents on the bottom of the bars, don't they? Why not use those?

BP Stealth budget build. Cables & decals to go on.
So far I have about €450 in this, but the parts bin has been a bit depleted, and that is taking into account a few eBay flips:

Not your average Cervelo P2.

Just waiting on some Zipp VukaShift extensions, R2C shifters and a Tririg Omega.

I won't call it a "budget" build, but I built it up on a limited budget with the help of countless Classifieds sellers. Thanks ST!

That would be the white one with the amazing custom paint work?
Your painter did a cracking job.

The BP is now cabled, just got to sort a rear brake that won't stay centred and apply some custom decals. Should be a fast ride. I'm pleased with how it's turned out and with the forward post I think ai can get an OK position.

Best of luck with the auction.

My nuggets :)

The P2 now has a Cobb saddle and the R3 has an SMP Composit. Not the flashiest bikes but I like them, the XRD wheels are the training wheels for the P2. Going to see if using a BSA30 BB kit will let the rotor cranks fit the P2, if so I will order a P2M power meter to suit, if not I will find a crank that can fit the P2 and can be adapted into the R3.

I've also been toying with the idea of stripping both bikes raw and spraying them with a matte clear coat. Will probably plastidip the P2 first tho.

I just upgraded from a hand-me-down that was cut for someone 5" shorter than me and weighted 38 lbs to my new baby (still in search of a good name...).
Specialized Ruby with Shimano Sora 9 Speed, and my fiance surprised me by putting a brand new wheel with power meter on the back. I am so in love, and just in time for my next race!

Close up on the awesome paint job:

Here's my new ride in a night-time photo w/flash:

2013 Wilier Triestina Blade
- Campy Record 10 Groupset
- Fulcrum Compact Cranks
- ITM Nivola Bars, ITM 101 Carbon Stem flipped up for IM training/racing
- Installed the Flo Front 60 and Rear 90 earlier this week, and FloMG, they are awesome!

Cheers!

Interesting. So, I'm curious, is this the same plastidip that people use for tool handles? If yes, what's the effect of coating the carbon P2? Why plastidip? How will you do it, as I assume you can't truly "dip" the frame, right?
