As far as i can tell - going to full screen is the only way to hide the chat. I don't know who Noel is, but i'm sure tired of reading about him already.

Why is Noel Mulkey racing today in the women's race? He's listed in the Mens 25-29 category - should he race on Saturday??

The tracker says AG men are due to race today, but they're yet to even start ... when are they scheduled to start?

Some of the older & younger AG men race today, the bulk of the male AG field race on Saturday.

So Ryf is still 5;30 in the rears, so still a pretty static flow of the top 3 groups. And losing those two really strong gals will just make it more so.

I think FL is riding brilliantly, take pace if Lucy slows down, then get back to her trailing spot ASAP. But good she does not slow down when Lucy does, this helps them both in the race against the chasers..

Yeah Ryf is 2nd fastest through 67k and is known for crushing the ride home. This talk of her not gaining and/or being "off" seems a tad premature to me

edit: whoops, 3rd fastest

I'm surprised that Ryf hasn't shaken Anne Haug. Either DR is off, AH is having a great ride, or-- as you indicate-- DR is being patient. We'll see soon!

Or Ryf is having a decent ride and biding her time and Haug is over biking to maintain contact with Ryf.

Craig is absolutely correct. If the clouds or the predicted afternoon showers don't roll in it will be a brutally hot and humid marathon.

I don't mind the penalties -- I just hope they were all clear cut & that athletes were adequtely warned that drafting zones would be strictly enforced since continuity seems to be an issue in this area. Would be down for bigger draft zones in the future.

No warnings!

I wish Greg Welch would pipe down and let the insightful Crowie and Rinny talk.

The two penalties take a lot of power out of the chase pack… the work would have more meaning now.

Likewise with whomever is with Ryf should sit in, unless she doesn’t care because she’s already won three times. Hard to say. If Ryf is having a bad day doesn’t mean she can’t win.

Still doubting it, but we’ll see.

Moto riding 1m from LCB also doesnt hurt her changes....Ridicilous

Is anyone able to see Men’s Age Group info by Age Group?
I can call up an individual OK, but the times by Age Group for Men indicates they haven’t started.

This, Ryf better drop the hammer at the turnaround. If she tows Haug to T2 she has no chance.

That overhead of the chase looked dodgy, Sodaro at least looks close. Still a double moto too.

Interested to see the speed down the big hill in comparison to other years. Lot of talk about no wind. Anyone on the ground there?
