The best part is seeing how pumped Phelps gets for the relay events.
Yep, the shot of him and his teammates screaming for joy at the end was simply amazing. What a moment.

Wow is right - great swim by Lezak riding the wave and digging deep. 46.06 100?! That is insane. Fun to watch. Might actually make my swim training tomorrow more fun ;-)

not a miracle.... Just the most stupid ever mistake from the last french swimmer and cost the gold medal.... the guy is gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight... he sure screw up by swimming next to the american lane rope and draging the american for 45m until the final sprint.... he had the win easy if swimming on the other side of the lane

How about the Canadians, .03 seconds off the WR, and they got 6th (which is a great result for them but 6th and be off the WR by .03

Did anyone notice Eammon Sullivan knock Bernard from the 100M record lists with a 47.25 leadoff leg?

Not a bad leadoff leg.

Terrible start by Phelps. Lucky he had 75M to make it better, alot better, (What was his split BTW? 47.51...... New AR?) to finish one one hundreth off the previous WR.........Phelps within a hundredth of "le Experiment"'s WR

Great legs by Webber-Gail and the mother of all anchors by The Clutch.....Jason 46.06 LeZak.

Best anchor since Hayes in 84 and Keller in Athens (granted, those were 800fr)

Bernard went out in a 21.27..........faster than Mr Sullivan's (flat start) 50M WR........that had to add to Lezak's chance to slay him.

Damn This meet has re-written the rules for speed and depth in this sport.................wow

Well in my world its a Miracle, that someone so experienced in swimming would be so STUPID as to swim along the lane line nearest your nearest competitor. I guess he figured they were going to SMASH the Americans so he could give them a bit of a draft.
