Allan...you should have joined me for the weekend's training:Sat 4 hour skate ski for 55K, Sunday 4:15 skate ski for 62K. The way your weight fluctuates, you would have lost 10 lbs alone this weekend :-).

I think all this weight gain on your part is just a form of continuous resistance/weight training. Add 20 lbs to your body during the off season and carry it around all winter so that every flight of stairs becomes a tougher workout.... Then drop the 20 lbs before Muskoka and run like a Kenyan...

The web site is up !!! Woo hoo

I take no credit. Dominique Whelan, my partner, authored the whole thing. It was her 1st web site.

The weigh in table is under the "blog" section. Once we have a few weeks of history, we'll see about a chart.

Please let me know if there are any mistakes in name or data.

good job rstocks...keeping right in theme with the pound per week. See what happens when you put down the ice cream? One point one down eighteen point nine to go.
We ever come up with a punishment for when (oops..meant to type in if musta been a Freudian slip or something) you fail to reach the goal? Spineless pansy assed weiner types always start off well but usually fall short of the goal when crunch time rolls along.

Monday, Dec 19, 2005: 183

No loss from last week but I wasn't actually working on it yet. I had given myself till Dec 31 and was starting Jan 1st.

So not gaining any was good as I had a gluttonous weekend of holiday food.

I also measure my weight loss by body measurements as I have incorporated a new strength routine for Jan.

nothing ventured so nothing gained...or lost for that matter. This is gonna suck like hummingbird in a field of flowers trying to lose 20. I'll not do a half though...been there done one aint going back. Does getting liposuction a week before count as cheating if no one else knows about it? Weight is the same despite the efforts of three Christmas parties. Now if I could just stay healthy long enough to parry the pre existing damage that has been done....en garde!

Spineless pansie ass wiener types? WOW!!! Whatever punishment you want to throw my way Kentiger, bring it on. There seems to be an awful lot of talk and name slinging coming from your end, I hope you have the will to back it up. There's a bit of a Pillsbury Doughboy in you as well my friend!! :-)
