'expected' number of aid stations
What do people expect for aid stations in different length tri's? My experience are this:

Sprint: one or two water/Gatorade stations on the run, nothing on the bike.
Oly: +- a bottle exchange on the bike, station every 1-2mi on run
Half: bottle exchange every 15ish miles on the bike, every mi on the run
Full: same as half (haven't done one of these but that seems to be what people talk about)

I guess I'm most interested in what people like/want/expect for the run in longer events and whether you should expect an exchange in an oly bike.

Thoughts anyone????

sprint - maybe something on the run, not needed though so assume nothing and enjoy

oly - NOTHING on the bike, something on the run

Half - 3 handups on bike, something on the run

full - 6 handups on bike, something on the run

sprint... maybe 1 at 1/2 point of run

oly... every 2 miles on the run, not really necessary on the bike, but maybe 1

HIM/IM every 10 miles on the bike, every mile on the run.

I think USAT has rules for how often they have to be, and I think it's every 2 miles on the run, not sure about the bike

Sprint. Nothing. Maybe some water on the head and body on the run.
Oly. Nothing on bike. I guess water every mile, but I mostly use it on my head and clothes. (I'd be just as happy with a hose or a sprinkler.)
HIM. 1-2 bottle exchange. Water and sports drink every mile or so on the run.
IM. multiple bottle exchanges. Water and sports drink every mile, but I think Kona has that every Km.
