"Psycho Killer" as performed in the concert is a solo acoustic number, so we'll start off with The National for that; but then "Thank You Sending Me An Angel" is also kinda twangy & cowboy rhumba-ish, so?
I'd love to hear Mylie Cyrus sing "Heaven" - should go dig into her Gospel roots and really spiritualize it
David Byrne uses a weird vocal styling on "Swamp" so let's give that to Lorde
"Life During Wartime" is made for The Linda's Lindas, as kids who've grown up in a life during wartime
Money Mark was The Beastie Boys keyboard player, and "Once in a Lifetime" has that great part opening it up; I'd like to see what he could do with it
Since it was originally a Soul record, and Chicano Batman can bring the funk, let's "Take Me (them LOL) To The River"
That's my list, off the top of my head. I'll have to listen more to the other participants and return - and revise if need be
Still don't understand the lyrics, so that passes as "accurate" LOL "What's your claim?" - Ben Gravy "Your best work is the work you're excited about" - Rick Rubin
Maybe not, but this is seriously one the best covers I've heard.
Casey Chambers would be well known to Aussies. She's been around for decades, and is an ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) hall of famer but I think her following in the US is still modest.

Backstory: it sounds like a classic sweet love song, but she was actually inspired to write it by her frustration with the superficial music industry in which she couldn't get a break on mainstream radio. Ironically enough, it became her breakthrough hit, and was played constantly on mainstream radio.
Hayley Williams was born in 1988, so she knows no time in this lifeline where this song didn't exist
She's probably been aching for a chance to cover it properly and Paramore delivers
Not "better" but judging by the antics in the studio, some people HAD seen Stop Making Sense, and behaved accordingly
So ... the Resident Swiftie has joined the chat (by proxy)
It's well known (by some? Most?) that Hayley Williams and Taylor Swift have been friends for a long time, and have collabed a time or two
We're not sure how Paramore got the "Burning Down The House" slot on the tribute album produced by A24 Studio, but apparently TS was inspired
"Hey!!! I love this!!!" I'm speculating what Taylor said, of course "We're taking 'ERAS' back out and I want you to open for me ... and bring this song in your set list. You'll see why later. I've got an idea"
What D'Swiftie told me is that during the re-worked Lover Era stage set, she builds a house, with nine rooms; nine for the number of songs?
Then ...
She burns it down!!! "What's your claim?" - Ben Gravy "Your best work is the work you're excited about" - Rick Rubin
