I don't recommend Lizard Skins DSP tape. Have it on my road bike right now and find it slippery when my hands get sweaty.

That is exactly where I am at. i have the wire hanging out. So thin tape is what im interested in

Self fusing silicone tape - as thin or thick as you want, reasonable grip. Lots of color choices. And cheap.

I have it covering the holes, I suppose I could. But then why not use some actual bar tape. Just like the ergonomic feel of it I guess
This weekend I found the bottom edge of the silicone tape rolling on me. Do you do anything special to keep this from happening?
