IMO, Add Cervelo to the Trainer 'Friendly' manufacturer category regarding frame cracks (2012 P2 owner)
So after a couple of rounds of photos being sent to Cervelo regarding the newly discovered crack in my 2012 Cervelo P2 frame a few months ago, I got an email from my LBS today that they are sending me a NEW 2018 P3 frame! Apparently they must not have any of that old stuff lying around.

I am thrilled, of course.

I had previously posted on another thread that I felt it was likely due to being on my trainer and my inexperience on the bike while strapped in. Sprints should be 'up/n/down' not 'back and forth' at all and I suspect this contributed only a bit. In reality, either I or my LBS probably had over tightened the bolts on the seat post. The crack was along the inside of the frame in the seat post, not at the dropouts.

Anyway, cervelo wasn't listed as trainer 'friendly' or 'unfriendly' in the Zwift list, but I'd add it to 'friendly'.

*(I still love my new/used 2015 Cervelo P2 JTNY-many thanks! I found it right here on ST classifieds)

Just thought I'd share...

I "crashed" my 2015 R3 during a trainer class at the shop where I bought the bike (authorized dealer) and they sold me a brand new R5 frame for cost, which was ok with me, as it gave me an excuse to get the new R5. After reading their warranty policy, I didn't think Cervelo was going to pay anything, so I was happy to get a good discount on a new frame.
