A good friend of mine has a beaver-pelt merkin.

(well, it's not really a merkin, but she likes to joke that it is)...

It's apparently a Mormon thing...

Thanks you. I couldn't come up with the term.

The Liberty code of conduct had me thinking that. And the first thing that popped to mind was "stirring" - no that can't be it.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

I quick google tells me that soaking isn’t quite what I expected from a putative sex act with that name. Jump humping is also a bit of a disappointment.

I should probably clear out my google search and browser history now, lest I die later today and leave my family a nice surprise. Hey, I wonder kind of things dad would search for on the internet?

I’m at the VW dealer today with my wife’s car. I’ll take a walk around and check the hubcaps

Yeah. Probably should have done that research in private mode on the iPad.

This does remind me though of some craziness from college. One of my best friends from HS went to a small, super conservative college back East. There was a girl from a nearby conservative girls school that they would hang out and “party” with that was really into staying a virgin until marriage, but would regularly engage in anal sex because that was somehow vastly different in god’s eyes. She was known around my friend’s school as “___ the ass____. “.

This story and some of the other ones he told us, that I later observed on a visit to be true, led me to conclude that a culture of sexual and social repression is a good way to create a bunch of maladjusted weirdos.

TIL about the infamous Barbados v Grenada 1994 soccer match, where first Barbados scored an own goal on purpose, then Grenada tried to follow suit due to a bizzare rule that said that the first OT goal is worth 2 and ends the match.

Since Barbados needed to win by 2 to move on, and Grenada only needed to lose by 1, Barbados (leading by 1) scored an own goal to try to send the match to OT. Not to be outdone, Grenada then needed a goal (any goal) to prevent OT. The result was the odd sight of Barbados defending the opposing net.

TIL how the Chicago Bears got their name, despite their being no bruins in Illinois.

They originally played in Cubs field (now Wrigley) along with the Chicago Cubs. They choose "Bears" since football players are bigger than baseball players. The Cubs got their name because they often had a roster full of young, inexperienced players. They had also gone by similarly veined names like the Colts, Seedlings, Microbes, Remnants, Recruits, and Sprouts, but Cubs would ultimately prevail.
