I may be biased being from Maine, but LL Bean has a very high standard for customer satisfaction. They will take anything back even if it is used and give you a credit without question. Some people abuse the policy when they return old backpacks or used shoes, but it works for LL Bean. They have excellent winter clothes for biking and running: in the cross country ski department. www.llbean.com Don.

Team Estrogen is great, they misshipped a size once, corrected it immediately and sent a $10 coupon. they have a great selection of stuff for chicks.

As the REI where I live is the smallest one in operation. I often order on line from the store and have it shipped to the store, then there are no shipping charges. The stuff goes out on the next truck and I usually get it in a few days.

Drugstore.com has HUGE selection of everything including fun "adult stuff." Love it, prescription drugs, cool gifts, shampoo, soap, shaving cream and bedroom toys all on one site. heh-heh.

Here's a hearty second for Glorycycles.com. One of the best tire selections on the planet, great turnaround and great customer service. I've done quite a bit of business with them. Just last week I ordered a new base bar and clip-ons. They spotted a compatibility problem and sent me an e-mail to point it out. They didn't have what I needed to solve the problem and they knew it. They probably knew it would cost them a sale (and it did), but they let me know anyway. I assured them they're always the first place I look online when I'm looking to order something. Really decent folks.

I drove 2 1/2 hours to visit the all3sports retail outlet north of Atlanta and look at aerobars in person. I didn't drive that far to NOT buy anything. I had a guy in that store feed me such a line of bullshit that I just literally couldn't stand being in the store anymore. I put down the bars I was talking to him about and excused myself from the store. I don't know who this guy was in the organizational scheme of things, but he wasn't interested in helping an athlete. He was only interested in making the highest dollar sale he could. I hope that was just an anomaly. I've done business with them online before and been satisfied. But they really made me mad that day.
