yeah...i figured it out just before you posted. it is so lame that we not only have to worry about what is legal and illegal, but we also have to worry about what might be thought to be illegal...that means we have to think like the baggage gorrillas. that is tough to do since they do not seem to think much.

Any aspect of traveling now is all about convenience maximisation.



For example - I travelled this morning to Atlanta from Cleveland for a trade show for the next few days.

Rather than suit up - I threw on jeans - no belt - t/shirt and a jacket - pair of running shoes - and the whole suit, belt, tie etc etc thing - was checked - that way - all I had to do on the way through the lines was kick off my shoes - remove my jacket pull out my notebook and I was through.

Shoes and jacket back on within ten seconds and I was away - I am so tired of the whole re-dressing thing after going through screening - with nowhere to sit

I guess I get a bug up my ass about it because I travel almost 300 days a year.
