Nicely done. I dig smart inside jokes ... usually though only when I'm on the inside. I'm such a follower .... ***** "In case of flood climb to safety"
The next cervelo line should be called the vroom!! (which has at least 2 meanings: part of a particular individual's last name, and, in English, the sound children make when they want their bikes or toys to go very fast).
The most interesting range I've come across are Cove North Shore bikes, we have the Stiffee, the Handjob and the Hummer. I wonder if the youth they are aimed at are meant to progress metaphorically of course through there youth with the bikes?
My favorite name was the short lived Profile Peregrine.
I wondered why they named their bike that and looked it up. The Peregrine Falcon is the world's swiftest bird and feeds mainly on Kestrels and other small birds. Level flight speed exceeds 60 mph. Strikes their prey from above at great speed, and prey is either struck to the ground or killed instantly by the blow.
I almost bought one just because the name was so cool. Profile had problems with the monocoque frame cracking and discontinued it. I became a Kestrel disciple. ______________________________ Have you hugged Your Mom today?
The Dirty Sanchez was made by Felt. My understanding is they let the German manufacturers come up with the name. They also have a mtb named EPO.
My fave has been and will remain the GGM by Pegoretti (Great Googlee Mooglee). Dan Hollingsworth

I've named mine "Mira", which is to be pronounced with an eastern European accent. ;) <If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough> Get Fitter! Proud member of the Smartasscrew, MONSTER CLUB Get your FIX today?
Hey, great thread! My wife's Orbea has a SWEET name, I just am not sure how to translate it. It is a 49cm satin pink Mitis Dama, which in my interpretation of Spanglish/Latin means Mighty Lady. Since 90% of you have to be smarter than me, please confirm or correct my translation.
You got me wrong there, Rich. I meant that the Litespeed is commonly pronounced "tacky-on" here and that is not a good connection!
If you have ever been to Blackpool you would know that Northern English can do tacky very well. If you haven't been there, keep it that way! "How bad can it be?" - SimpleS
