Fact or fiction

I guess this is a 2 part question.

Does excercising in the morning before you eat burn more fat?

What is the process that food goes through as it gets converted to energy in your body as either fat or glycogen or whatever?

It is my understanding that if you run and keep your heart rate low enough the energy requirements are not so heavy that your body has time to convert stored fat to energy. I'm just not sure how full stomach might affect the process. As many threads that I see here that are over my head I figure someone has a handle this and can dumb it down for me.

Let me dumb it down like this. Eat more calories than you burn, and you gain weight. Eat fewer calories than you burn, and you lose weight.

There is really nothing else you need to know.

I got that and it is exactly what I tell people who ask me about calories and weight loss. As many times as it has come up I guess I just wanted to understand the system a little better.
