Day 5 -Totals

finished a bit early today, so it feels like half a day of rest...

ride: 3h - 60mi some easy hills.
run: 1h20' hilly easy pace- 11mi (off the bike)
swam 1h20' - 5000yds
149pts (getting tired I guess :-))

total after 5 days: 839pts

maybe 1500pts in 9 days?

I thought my job was slack!

Do college profs ever work? Or is today your day off. Got an hour run in today at lunch and thought I was doing good. Was going to spin another hour on the bike trainer tonight but since it's St. Paddy's Day I'll have to bag it for a couple of Guiness instead.

I'm not gaining on you -- day job. My total assume the gym session proposal of Gordo was accepted. If not my total is whatever it is less 30.

Sat: 64 (13 mile run/1200 swim)
Sun: 55 (ride)
Mon: 71 (3000 swim/big gym session/2 mile run)
Tue: 50 (18 mile ride/8 mile run)
Wed: 54 (2200 swim/8 mile run)

Total: 294

Gooday mates, Happy St. Patties to all. Here's the breakdown for my 5 days of suffering and zen on feet, wheels and chlorine:

sat. 44pt. -- 11mile run
sun. 113 pts. -- 113 mile bike
mon. 73 pts. -- 3k swim, 43 m. bike
tues. 42 pts. -- 9m. run, 6m. bike
wed. 33 pts. -- 33 mile bike

total after 5 days: 305

Thanks to whoever it was for the "climbing" inspiration for the bike. I awoke this morning and cranked 2000 feet up a sinister Flagstaff mountain before work. A black squirrel with rabbit ears crossed the road before me. Is this possible or typical after five days of Epic Camp?

The plan was for a 4.5hr ride and a 1 hr run, but 4" of snow stopped that. I'd already taken the day off so the plan was modified:

Break for breakfast
XC Ski - 1.5 hr easy with gf (20 Points)
Break for Lunch and watched 21 grams
Bike (trainer) - 35 miles (35 Points)
Run 2.5mi (20 Points)
Spin Class (25 Points)
Run 2.5 mi (20 Points)
Wednesday total - 160

5 Day Total - 351

Easy Day:

26mile ride= 26 points.

60min killer strength session- (points?)

Total after 5 days: 280 points (not including strength session)



BTW: Did Slowman make a call on Strength (lifting) sessions? I had a gnarly 60min lift yesterday but am not sure what if/any points I should get for it? Swim should be interesting today as my upper body is quite sore.
