What makes this full distance so great? I did the 70.3 last year and didn't think it was anything special, so I'm wondering what makes the full so much better? Running across the wooden bridge was neat. Seems like the full is basically two loops of the half? Considering it this year. For reference I've only raced IMFL 3x, IMIN 1x and Kona 1x so not much variety. Quoting Ironman below.
