Iām in the planning stages of a move to the greater Miami area, wondering if anyone has info or reviews on the Brian Piccolo velodrome. I honestly had no idea there was one there but I could be about 15-20 from there so Iād like to take advantage.

There used to be a Facebook group for BPV, not sure how active it is now. Florida Velodrome Association is who you need to search for.
Like a lot of velodromes, it has had some issues with $ on and off... looks like a good group of guys currently in charge of things, recent repairs to the surface and racing taking place. It's a 333 outdoor, ~30Ā° steep.

I donāt know a lot about track rulesThat said, converting an IA would be a lot of hoops to jump through ($$$) - you can pick up a competent aluminum track frame much cheaper than you could buy the weird bits and pieces to make the IA work.

Yeah true story. I donāt really know whatās involved. I just know itās a nice aero frame and I barely use it
Google and Wikipedia are fun!

The current "UCI Standard" is for 250m length tracks. On these tracks the banking at it's steepest is just over 40 degrees!! This looks absolutely crazy to the uninitiated, but a few rides on the track and you get why it's like that!
