I have a timemachine 01 Disc, bought April 2021.

After a couple of 100km the headset started to come loose.
I tightened it a couple of times after that.
In winter I didn't ride on it.

Problem wasn't fixed.
By now the shop where I bought the bike reassembled the fork to try and fix this issue.
Af first it seemed perfect, but after 300k, it became completely loose again...

They will send it to BMC now to have a look...

Anyone else experienced this issue?
I need to think of the recall of the 2017-2018 Timemachines, but by now this problem should be fixed?

I had the same issue after my fork was replaced due to the recall. The problem was the shop didn’t put in the wavy washer which if I recall went on top on the compression ring. If you have the headset bolt, and it’s sitting in the assembly the wavy washer goes between the assembly and compression ring. I showed it to the shop that they didn’t put it in there and they were able to fix it on the spot with one, no issues since.I have a rim brake model but it’s the same headset.
I would check and make sure that’s there as your first troubleshoot, second issue is the threads on your compression ring could be bad

Update on this one...

The bike had been sent back to BMC (since April 20...)
They fixed my head set with some glue inside they told me through the phone.
On June 3rd t hey told me to send the bike back to me.
As of today didn't get any update...

Ironman Race plannend on July 10, wasn't able to train on it...
I still hope to get my bike back in time and that the problem will be fixed...

Not happy with BMC Customer service.
Didn't respond to any mail or phone calls last weeks...

The problem with me was also that the fork was not molded correctly, there was to much of a clearance, causing the headset to be loose all the time...

They didn't gave me a new frame, they fixed it with glue inside...
Fingers crossed it works!
