I had a thought while watching and went back and looked at Sun Yang versus Paltrineri.
Yang took about thirty strokes per fifty compared to Paltrineri's 40 strokes, so he's a definite hard worker.
Quite honestly if he (Paltrineri) posted a stand alone video on here the people would be all over him for his stroke.
Seems to me most top flight swimmers break a few rules (Ledecky anyone). Curious as to anyone else's take.
His left and and right arm almost look to be doing different things. One has elbow lift the other seems to just come around. That is just noticing things above the water. No arguing with his stroke given his speed. Works for him
