Is there any way to angle the arm pads without having to bring the extension bars up? Like a wedge or something to it under the pads etc

That's a good question. I have seen some rigs with a custom 3D printed wedge which makes a lot of sense to me. TriRig does sell a tilt kit and includes it on their new kits I believe.
Since aerobars with a lot of rise (51 Speedshop, Zipp Vuka Alumina, etc.) are the trend and not all integrated bars have tilt adjustability I think a tilt spacer is a pretty good solution. I'll be curious to hear people's suggestions.
