This stuff has been going on here for so long it's almost inured metro Detroiters to it due to the commonness of it all, sad to say. Sigh:
"Two women and a man are dead after a Monday morning shooting at a Sunoco gas station on Detroit’s west side, police say.
Police said the shooting happened at about 8:40 a.m. Monday at the gas station on the corner of Fenkell and Beaverland near Telegraph.
The suspect in the shooting is still at large, they said.
Jacqueline Pritchett, commander of the Detroit Police Department’s 8th Precinct, said investigators have yet to identify the victims or the suspect in the shooting.
However, she said investigators believe the victims live in the area and the male victim, described in his late 40s-early 50s, may be a local church pastor.
She said it appears the shooting stems from an argument between a man who was driving a gray sedan and the occupants of a silver Dodge Journey.
“The (suspect) went over to the Dodge and he and a passenger engaged in conversation,” she said. “The suspect pulled out a handgun and began firing into the vehicle. Then he shoots the man who was pumping gas into the Dodge.”
Pritchett said the motive for the shooting and how many shots were fired are unknown."
I know the deep west and east sides of the city. Not shocking to me at all that this took place over on the west side of town.
"Politics is just show business for ugly people."
