Things have changed for me depending upon what I was addressing at different points in my life - now as a 45 year old getting into endurance sports:
antioxidants: lycopene from tomatoes - most days - i have missed some; grape seed extract again most days; astraxanthin - most days - these are for recovery and two of them specifically also help protect skin from damage given that racing I am not taking time in transition to reapply sunscreen....
natural antiinflammatories - celadrin (esterified fatty acids); low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (injuv) - both for joint protection
multivitamin a few days per week and lately iron citrate or iron picolinate due to anemia
occasionally a thyroid support formula that has minerals, b-vits and bacopa
sporadic - theanine (amino acid causes alpha wave production)
usually I consume enough calcium in the form of dairy and soy if not I also take calcium and vit D in addition to what is in multi. plethora of research on all of this....
