I'm 48 and I'm actually looking forward to when I turn 50 so I can be one of the younger guys in the old guy bracket. By then I should be really good.

I'm 28 and competed in my first multisport event in 1988 at the Lake Lewisville Triathlon north of Dallas, Tx. Lance Armstrong won that race I believe.

39. But I think there's another question -- training age. Started in tri when I was 20, competed for about 12 years, then migrated to bike racing. Went to weight training about 4 years ago, and will get back to tri either late this season or next season.
