What you've written is much appreciated.

We tend to think of aging as performance related during swim/bike/run. Splits, mph and pace drops off. However, apart from the sport, we or loved ones are likely to have setbacks. We would be so lucky if we could limit our losses to performance decreases. What you've said also holds true for setbacks outside the sport too.

Thank you Dev.

Solo workouts with a clock continue to give me joy. I am accountable only to myself. Fortunately, I am still able to compete. The infrequent competion is now about using all of the fitness that I have been able to put together to execute the fastest race possible given conditions.
