I'm so close to finally getting over this with patience and going easy, but still looking for any tips -
My right calf likes to tighten up overnight and if I wear a "night boot", that helps a ton. But when I start running, it responds by crunching down and acting a lot like compartment syndrome. After about half an hour of being stiff and fighting back, it finally fully relaxes and I can run just fine.
Any tips on getting it to not do that when I start running? Rolling it beforehand, stuff like that?
Also, I always assumed it wasn't compartment syndrome because it goes away after running a while. Or is that typical? Or maybe I'm just a level 1 sufferer on a scale of 1 to 5?
