Nope. But, I do order my shirts with longer tails, which keeps it from pulling out. I get my shirts online from Charles Tyrwhitt.

Yep, these shirts fit perfectly for me. I think they have their 3 for $99 sale going on now. Also if your a thinner guy I'd say look at slim or extra slim fit. I find they tend not to bunch out as much as the non fitted shirts.

Someone I knew would tuck the tails into and out of the bottoms of his briefs. Tighter the brief the better.
Personally, that just seems weird to me. I just "reset" stuff during a bio break if nec.

From my days in the Marine Corps I wore shirt stays, that attached your shirt to your socks. Kind of 2-fer-1 keeping your shirt tucked and socks up. They work great, but kind of suck when one decides to let go unexpectedly.

I like the Tywhitt shirts as well, and they always have some kind of pricing deal going. Didn't realize they don't come with a pocket though. And seems gimmicky that they charge +$7/shirt to add it.

That's one of the things I like about CT shirts. Never been a fan of the shirt pocket - don't use it, don't like the asymmetry of the look. No shirt pocket, decent construction, slightly slimmer fit is the trifecta that I like about Tyrwhitt shirts.

Ha! I think the absence of the pocket is more of an odd look. And on my original CT shirts, I find myself trying to slip something into a pocket that's not there. e.g. just yesterday it was the parking ticket slip after I pulled into a garage.

I read the following online and it helps...tuck your undershirt into your underwear and tuck your shirt into your pants as normal.

Yah. From discussions with friends over the years when the topic has come up, I get the sense I'm definitely in the minority here in the US on the no-pocket preference.

Clue is that not all shirts are even made to be tucked. Most modern "polos" and even some button ups aren't made long enough to tuck.
You have to make sure when you buy it that it is the right length for tucking. It should be obvious how much longer the back end in particular looks with the extra fabric.

Just cut out the pocket liner in your pants.
Then you can reach in and adjust...anything that needs adjusting. ;-)

I use shirt stays as well, but from my Air Force days. Keeps things at least presentable. I also find that more fitted shirts look better.

Yeah, the key to not having poofy- back is to have shirts that fit properly. If you have that much extra material, on a standard dress shirt, it’s too big.

Sure, that's why I visit a tailor. But pull a well-fitted shirt up a few inches in the back and you still have extra material sloughing around your belt line. Unless you have a magic fit that I haven't heard about. Still happens with my Tyrwhitt shirts and all of my slim fit stuff. I mean, we're all v-shaped with flat stomachs in here, right? Ha.

What industry do you work in that you have to have your shirt tucked in? I tend to wear my collared shirts tucked in, but I'm in the minority in the Bay Area. Most guys go with untucked t-shirts, even management types. If they do wear a collared button down, it is most often untucked.

Government.
I’d say most of my shirts fit pretty well. I am definitely a slim fit. It is crazy to me that I should have to further tailor a slim or extra slim fit to keep it nice.
I am not super slim but most people are fat, so slim fit shirts are what should probably be called regular fit or classic fit. Shirts currently labeled classic fit and “club fit” bike jerseys should be called fat guy fit.

+1 for the pocket mafia. I don't use 'em a lot, but will miss having one from time to time on some of my shirts

Most of my dress shirts are Brooks Brothers, but Ive been considering ordering a few from CT. If you’ve worn BB, how would you compare the two?

Have not worn BB, so, cannot say. I love CT. I think they are very high quality shirts. I have monkey arms - too long for my torso - so, I need to semi-custom aspect of CT. But, I like the weight and cut. Good variety. Nice metal collar stays. Nice quality buttons.

Quality the same. The brook brothers shirts for me dont fit well. They are made more for the larger American man. Ct shirts are more of a European cut, so more for the thinner guy. Plus the BB sleeves just are a bit to long for me.
