Someone needs to create a cheat sheet so we at home can play along.

EDIT TO ADD: Holy shit!

The Hunters overdrew their personal bank accounts more 1,100 times in a seven-year period, according to the indictment from the US Attorney's Office in San Diego, resulting in $37,761 in "overdraft" and "insufficient funds" bank fees.
. . .

Hundreds of thousands of dollars in unusual charges on Hunter's campaign credit card had come under scrutiny, including among other things, an Italian vacation, dental work, purchases at a surf shop, and huge tabs at bars in restaurants in the San Diego and Washington, DC, areas. Among the most mocked charges was airfare for a pet rabbit to fly with the family, which an aide said was mistakenly charged to the wrong credit card.

Who were 1 and 2?

1. chris collins (indicted)
2. duncan hunter (indicted)

hence the exercise here. if you're scott desjarlais you'd better hope this exercise is open to all congressmen. in this case you're shielded by sessions, who'd have to get indicted before it's your turn. if it's limited to house members then it's your turn next.

The next time Trump complains about Sessions, I'd like to hear Sessions say, "you better hope I don't release the tapes."

That's one way for him to get rid of Sessions. Just not the way he is probably hoping for ;)

If he could get rid of Sessions, he would have done it long ago. Sessions knows too much about the Russian cash flow. Remember, Sessions lied about ever talking to the Russians. Then, when he was backed into a corner, he said thay well, yes he did but everyone talked to the Russians. I guess everyone in his circle was lining up for some rubles. Who's next on the Russian gravy train? I know my pick!

4. is a real peach by the way.

"Weeks before the 2012 election, papers from his 2001 divorce were released, and they showed that the former doctor had engaged in sexual relationships with patients, medical center co-workers and a drug company representative. The Chattanooga Times Free Press's account of the divorce papers noted, "Serving a dual role as doctor and lover, DesJarlais prescribed one patient pain medication and lavished her with an $875 watch and a plane ticket to Las Vegas, records show." The staunchly antiabortion rights representative also encouraged his ex-wife to get two abortions, and when one of the patients he was seeing said she was pregnant, he also advised that she get an abortion."

He really seems to be a despicable person.

He won the primary because he had too many opponents who split the vote and the power of incumbency. It's not the most sophisticated district in the country, or even in Tennessee for that matter.

After he won the primary, ... well my left nut would win the general in that district if it won the R primary.

They are voted in, fair and square, by the public.

Just like the disaster now occurring in the Whitehouse, the question is how can the public vote these people into office. That's the real mystery.

And those with leadership and integrity want nothing to do with the political process.

Suffer Well.

My guess as well. These guys are all genuine sociopaths. Odds that you cheated on your significant other...probably with someone underage and of the opposite gender from your public gender preferences...are sky high among these bastards. If you're pro-life you're probably paying for your mistresses' abortions. If you're anti-drug I'm guessing that's a good sign you're snorting medical grade coke. So on and so forth.

From this article

Quote:
The Latest on the indictment of U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter and his wife (all times local): //

Bail was set at $15,000 for the congressman and at $10,000 for his wife.

Hmmm, I wonder if the Hunters will use campaign funds to post bail!

Didn't he already throw her under the bus, essentially blaming her for any financial irregularities?

yep:

“She was also the campaign manager, so whatever she did, that’ll be looked at too, I’m sure,” Hunter said on Fox News shortly after the indictment. “But I didn’t do it. … I didn’t spend any money illegally.”
