Seriously France? Getting all Wal-Mart Black Friday crazy over a 3 euro discount on a bread spread. You guys are amateurs, or just f@Iking nuts.

Costco-size it. Or just buy the local house brand.

How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?

I dunno. One of my favorite things to do in France is head out to a coffee shop and enjoy a fresh morning soaking up culture with a piping hot machiato and a nutella crepe. Mmmmm...

I'm not sure why the French needed to riot. They could just go to the store and buy some chocolate cake frosting. Basically the same thing. I can send a box of Duncan Hines chocolate frosting to France as an aid package if required.

Don't talk bad about Nutella or we may have to meet up to settle this in person. :) Nutella is my caloric downfall. At night I when I want something sweet I will get a spoonful of the stuff, but it usually turns into two of them.

Several things:

1. I was tagged on this crap by at least 4 people on my FB.

2. I was not involved.

3. These were certainly not Black Friday type issues. You could still see people laugh about it although a couple of folks got shuffled.

4. What slowguy said. There is way better than nutella.

5. Go Pats.

Really? From http://www.cnn.com/...ance-intl/index.html

Quote:
"It was a real disaster, 200 people were outside waiting for the supermarket's opening," one employee at a store in Metz, northeast France," told CNN. "All of this mess for a Nutella jar."

"People just rushed in, shoving everyone, breaking things. It was like an orgy," another employee in Forbach, northeast France, told AFP. "We were on the verge of calling the police."

Staff at one store, in Otstricourt, were forced to call police after disturbances broke out.

The regular price of Nutella at Intermarche is at €4.50 ($5.60). It was discounted to €1.41 ($1.75).

Intermarche apologized to its customers, saying it had been "surprised" by the demand.

//chocolate cake frosting. Basically the same thing//

Take it back. I’ve read many outrageous assertions on this forum, brutal name calling, even physical threats, but this is blasphemous. Inexcusable. Lifetime ban worthy.

Francois gets a pass because just under the skin he’s all French but draped in a American flag. Not you.

I have a boat and a plank. Take it back or start walking.

I guarantee I could give 100 American "foodies" a blind taste test with Nutella and cake frosting and the majority wouldn't know the difference.

Costco-size it. Or just buy the local house brand.

I will generally choose just about store-brand product over the brand-name. Except Nutella.

President's Choice "Nutella" is good.

Rightfully so.

I'll reserve judgment until I hear what Robert Mueller has to say on that

Agreed. There French amateurs didn't even have a proper shooting over this.

Say what? I have not yet tried licking sweet ambrosia and nectar from Heidi Klum's breasts. I may change my mind then, but for now - nothing beats nutella.

This is a thread about a hazelnut-chocolate spread, not fudge-packers

Wow. Just, wow.

Nutella is mostly sugar, with chocolate and hazelnut. Chocolate frosting is mostly sugar, with chocolate.

They are basically the same thing.

I'm just being a jerk. I will be (grudgingly) cheering for the Pats in 10 days. I want to see the greatest football dynasty ever at its high water mark. And next year the Pats decline starts and the Bills ascendancy begins.

And yes - The Bills O-line and D-lines are in trouble. Eric Wood was a very underrated O-line stalwart. Richie Incognito is 34 and an UFA in 2019.
DT Kyle Williams is likely to retire this year. The guys coming up behind them are OK, but definitely a step down.

The Bills will need to draft some big boys with all the draft picks they have this year.

As for Nutella. Here is how I imagine it's made. and I still love it.

I do Nutella crêpes fairly regularly at home. I once tried some lame ass spread that pretended to be better than Nutella. I should have punched the grocery clerk for making that stupid comment.

This thread is timely in that just in the past couple days I have had a Nutella slam post come across my FB feed a few times, in French and English. Basically a breakdown of what is in it, 3 or 4 ingredients and then 55% sugar. IT is absolutely chocolate cake frosting, but without all the guilt for some weird reason...

Perhaps if we called cake frosting something like naturally smooth meal ending topping, or something like that. Or put like 1% kale in it and call it Kalella....
