They can try to frame it any way they want but we all know there's only one place for the world championships. Even people who know nothing about the sport when it comes up in conversation the first thing they want to know have you gone to Hawaii have you done Kona. You want to give the women equal slots perfect I don't think anybody will have a problem with that but make it one day again and if it makes it harder to qualify for everyone that's fine it just makes the place more competitive and more prestigious. And if you're like some of us that will probably never qualify for Kona myself included then tough s*** either get good enough to qualify or stay home with the rest. And what the pros do or do not think about this move is a completely mute point this company makes money off the backs of the age groupers.
