Re: Official ITU discussion thread... [sciguy]
Just a little bump to the end of our ITU discussion thread for this cycle.

How about a little love for Seth Rider? He barely got a mention for his amazing 4th place in the Grand Final (and 9th place overall in the series for this year, which yes, was short and different I understand, but still counts).

He has been a consistent front pack swimmer for years, and as well has shown his ability to ride with the lead group for several years now. (Although commentators seem surprised when he does this, he has actually been doing it for quite a while now). He has been in several mixed relays and put out consistent legs for the team. And then at the Grand Final, he delivered on the 10k, including a massive sprint to push him to 4th. It is coming together. And he is at the great age of 24.

He doesn't have the collegiate running background of a few of our other men, so I think that may have possibly put him on the periphery a bit for those watching, but I have been watching him for years and was not surprised to see this result and was thrilled for him to put it together.

Nice race, Seth.
