As far as I can tell the race is sold out. I was thinking that means far more than what you’re suggesting. It is a Championship race, and I would expect many registrants from outside the US though, virtually everyone of them not able to participate should the event happen.

I guess the bottom line of how I feel about the event actually happening is this:
- IM better have reasonable options for those who can not (due to travel restrictions) or don’t feel safe to travel/participate
- I personally will be torn and disappointed because while I love StG and want to do a full there badly, I may have to submit to being in the “don’t feel safe” category (primarily due to being married)

Btw, more for the other threads re: proactive communication to athletes by new owners, StG race site currently says this:

So not only is there no coordinated update, they don't even think it's necessary to remove obsolete info after several days.
