Want to give a shout-out to Ross McGraw, who dominated the CWD almost as much as Rich Burke did the GCG.

Ross finished less than 2 minutes off the course record, set in '08 by Justin Harris (who went Pro just a short time later).
Justin did 31/1:26/:33, and Ross went 32/1:25/35

I believe that's the 2nd fastest CWD time ever - I know Dave Roche had a very fast time there too one year, but I can't find that result at the moment.

For anybody who's wondering if that's the bike course record - nope.
Not even close.

The incomparable Josh Beck set the LONG COURSE record at a mind-numbing 6:42 in 2010, where he biked THREE LAPS in < 4:11 -
an average lap time of < 1:24, THREE TIMES IN A ROW.

Yours Truly had the fastest Mohonk Descent of the day, at 3:01.
Next was local bike stud Jim Stafford at 3:11, and then those hipster dudes from Brooklyn at 3:19.

I don't think Rich Burke uploaded his rides to Strava, since he didn't want me to mock him for melting his brake pads the whole way down...
