Well, the problem is not fits well, have to rely on draw string to keep in place, I had many brand cycling bib shorts as well as ironman suits, all fits me very well, but not spider.
I don't know spider 2, mine should be the lastest version of spide 1. And there is no way you could untie, put in and forget.



Both Castelli and Huub has nothing on your waist, so nothing you need to try to ignore.
You could see what's on your waist.
