Re: 2018 Kona Survival Guide - All new 40th Anniversary Race Edition [KonaCoffee]
Well done, KonaCoffee! Awesome as always.

One month to go!

The tension builds.

Those who will be there riding ( those racing and the many others that bring their bikes to ride there during Race Week) please pay particular attention to the Bike & Road Info, in the "Survival Guide".

Last year we had one high profile athlete taken out of the race beforehand, because of a motorist/cyclist incident. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon - almost every year we have been there for the past 10+ years there are incidents like this.

Riding on the whole section from Town to the Airport, is pretty much heads-up and high alert riding - and PLEASE obey all the lights and stop signs. NOTHING pisses locals off more than, visitors blowing through Stop Signs and Lights on their bikes, AND it's extraordinarily dangerous!
