Good take, I agree with everything you said about the course. That one section, about mile 20-35 I think was literally like cobblers it was insane. Run was brutal, ended up being like a really fast hike for me.
I've really got to give it to the RD and volunteers. So many great volunteers, most of which are Cal Poly SLO kids I think. They did a great job.
The way they branded the race weekend as a "Experience" was great too. From the expo, vendors, music, booze, etc, really terrific weekend.
