Joey Foster is an incredible athlete, and an amazing ambassador for the sport. He's racing in his first World Cup race, on home soil, sees my son and skis over to him to ask if he's having a good time this weekend. He was incredibly patient and just plain awesome. Hah small world. I raced against Joey throughout high school and a couple years after (we're the same age, but different clubs/schools). He's a really nice guy and loves the sport. In a 30k loppet a couple years back we skied 29.5k of the race together and he dropped me right at the end like I wasn't moving and won
