Glad i found this thread, has explained quite a few questions.
It would be quite useful to have a frame compatibility chart that it is updated with frames that are a problem.
Currently have a TCX 1 2014 and an Defy Adv Pro 0 (would be switching crankset over) and due to frame compatibility issues of BB86 it kind of makes me nervous.
Rec. for BB86 are FSA Gossamer, FSA K-Force Light, Rotor 3D.
Is there are reason that Force 22 is not included? What about the Rival22 P2MClassi cranksets offered?
When looking at the Frame Compatibility (image below) considering the outer bore shape - i think being nervous about measuring to within
a mm is to be expected. Especially since the 'outer bore' is somewhat rounded - and sometimes (almost?) flat.
It would be good to have a little more info about it.
Where would i measure from on such a curved BB as below? I feels almost flat
